Wm Pitzer is the News Graphics Editor of The Charlotte Observer. His illustrations and graphics have won numerous regional, national and international awards. Pitzer has also created illustrations for National Geographic Magazine, The New York Times, Discovery Channel and the Associated Press.
His weekly illustrated panel, GeoWeek, is syndicated worldwide by the New Yourk Times Syndicate. Pitzer is an honors graduate of Glenville State College and holds a masters degree in educational media and instructional technology from Appalachian State University.
